THE COWBOY SOUL CONTEST REHEARSAL – An open-mike competition of personal storytelling pits contestants against each other for the chance to win Cowboy Soul of the Month. When it appears that the competition is actually being rehearsed to a fevered pitch of false sincerity, controlled chaos ensues. This comic and musical romp marvels at the earthy gentility, the ‘cowboy soul’ that can still be found in our current age of irony and reality television.
