Nonetheless, we return, again and again, to the old harbor of past feelings and ideas, each time rewriting old stories—especially this time!
This show depends upon you as a valued actor in our unique version of Krapp’s Last Tape, a life’s-a-one-act by twentieth-century Irish playwright and absurdist Samuel Beckett. Often viewed as loosely based on Beckett’s life, Krapp’s fragmented rehearsal of his early life narratives deconstructs and recaps his story in a chiaroscuro of nostalgia, narcissism, and denial – the contemporary amnesia of selective programming.
