This new work written by recent graduate from Chapman University, Christian Guerrero, was impressive. Guerrero starred in the production with a young and talented cast. The play dealt with complex life passage issues in a 'old' Hollywood context. Touching on the fiction of 'fame', interpersonal relationships, and under currents of homosexuality in an era where those realities were hidden and suppressed made for a complex story told in a engaging and sensitive manner. Tosh Turner, playing Stanley, captivated the audience with his presence and intensity, playing a rakish heart throb who garnered interest from both sexes.
