Unlike any show about marriage you have ever seen. Don't let all the hysterically funny banter at the top lull you into thinking this is just some cutie comedy. It delivers on all fronts. I won't say what happens as I don't want to ruin it for yo, but strap in for a ride. Don't. Miss. This. Show. ... full review

Starting off at a sitcom pace with punch line after punch line until it takes a darker (yet still comedic!) twist, A Very Modern Marriage is a whirlwind 75 minutes of side splitting laughter. Scott Marden really brought to life Arthur M. Jolly's comical love story and kudos to the cast!... full review

In my opinion: Lots of laughs in this play and not a cheap one in the bunch. The humor is based on truth and character and contrasting needs and desires. Stellar work by the cast! Highly recommended.... full review

This will be in the running for the "Best of Fringe" awards guaranteed. It's extremely well written, directed, produced and acted. Surprisingly funny while dealing with some heavy marital topics. I'd see it again. ... full review

What a fun show! Great script, great acting, great directing. This one could compete for some Fringe awards. Some real, dramatic moments mixed with some slapstick, witty humor, extreme (but believable) characters and a lot of heart. Honestly, everything one could look for in a show. Great job to all involved. Go see it....and "Eat your soup."... full review

A really terrific show. The sense of professionalism and craftsmanship on every level of this play is as vital as its sense of playfulness and humor. The dialogue sparkles, the jokes land perfectly without fail, the pace never lulls, the performers manage a balance of bombast and believability that hammers home the theme of our changing and frequently confusing world while managing not to preach or be pedantic. It's a rare thing that even a play this well written comes together as well as this one, and it's a testament to the hard work and talent of all involved. A genuinely hilarious triumph for Will Play for Food.... full review

I feel that this play is impossible not to enjoy. The script is very clever, the actors are hilarious, and the directing and staging of the show brilliantly brings the story to life in a way that allows for effortless, fun viewing. This is everything I want in a Fringe show--original content that has relevancy and meaning, is thoroughly entertaining, and executed with love. Check this show out, you will not regret it!... full review
