What I liked
Other than knowing the origin of the name, New Canula, I went into this play blind. It surprised me; delighted me; and dared me to laugh at at topic that is not supposed to be funny. I loved it. And, hope, future audiences like it as much as I did.
What I didn't like
It was a fun and thought provoking play. My only comment would be that there was a scene in which the one character was laughing at the other character. I thought the laughter went on a bit too long and made me feel uncomfortable, seemingly taking the laugh into a psychotic realm. Other than that, it was a great play and “dramedy” is the right category.
