My overall impression
If you like sketch comedy you’ll love Smile Baby! Savannah Dooley has done it again with this 50 minute fast paced series of wild scenes of women’s experiences trying to avoid the everyday hassles of male harassment. The cast of five quickly and effortlessly meld from one character to another as the scenes change. Kudos to director Kate Motzenbacker for the clever staging!
And hats off to cast members Madison Shepard, Sonia Jackson, Jessica DeBruin, Linda Serrato Ybarra and Molly Wixson.
These well drawn scenes need to be the start of something we can enjoy more of……on TV….on the Internet? SNL watch out….you’ve got competition!
