“Only the Moon Howls” World Premieres in Hollywood Fringe Festival 2015

Boys with Dogs Theatricals presents the World Premiere of the one-act play “Only the Moon Howls” throughout June as part of the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Written by Los Angeles playwright Dean Farell Bruggeman, the romantic drama is a memory play that weaves comedic elements as it tracks the long-term relationship of married L.A. couple Whitney & Jake, well-adjusted professionals who’ve navigated plenty of peaks & valleys in their fourteen years together. In a surreal twist, the narrative is driven by an omnipresent guide tasked with moving the story along while appearing in key moments as significant figures (The Others) from Jake & Whitney’s shared personal history.
Jake & Whitney are one of those couples who are certain to grow old together. Fate, however, has other ideas, and it’s never easy to say good-bye…but if you don’t even get the chance, which memories will last, which regrets will haunt?
