My overall impression
I’ve somehow never seen The Sound of Music and somehow it wasn’t necessary to thoroughly enjoy this show stuffed full of SOM references. There’s enough smart/sly/stupid silliness that I laughed the entire time. I have huge admiration for actors who play things outrageously over the top yet still 100% committed to the “realness” of their characters. This cast excels at this with a special nod to the supremely funny Clayton Farris. Apparently they’ve sold out their run but are adding performances. Buy a ticket as SOON as it’s possible. Well done all!
