My overall impression
Tiananmen Annie is a genuine treasure of a one-woman show. Ann Starbuck masterfully guides the audience on a journey through her personal experience as a college student living in Beijing at the time of the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. Her heartfelt stories reflect her great love and respect for the people she met while in China. As a young woman close to the age Ann was when she studied abroad, I would recommend this show to anyone contemplating their purpose in life or anyone looking for a transportive night of storytelling!
