People, please just do yourselves a favor and go see Stupid Songs. So so funny, so well-performed, and so inventive that I don't think I stopped smiling the whole way through. What a great hour of my life!... full review

Did I enjoy STUPID SONGS, you say? Did I! !!! Not all of them were Stupid, not all of them were Successful, not all of them Landed with a punch, but EVERYBODY was talented and personable and enough of the material landed with a punch to make for an utterly entertaining hour. Most Memorable, to me, were SARAH WOLTER and her country-western song (This dame is a Star already, just waiting for the right vehicle!) and BRANT COX (with his neurotic monologue song)and JASON CURRIE. The only thing missing was a CD for sale in the lobby! I would have been glad to buy one afterward! ... full review

HILARIOUS!!! Such a FUN night out! The time just flew by & I couldn't stop laughing. The troupe worked really well together & sang beautifully -- but the real genius was in the creativity & the writing. Awesome! ... full review

Damn you all to hell. This show is out of control. It really does have it all. The music is terrific. Every song is well crafted and smart. Luckily they aren't relied upon to be the star of the show, because every performer in this show has chops! What makes this cast special is that along with their terrific voices, they all display an incredible grasp of comedic timing. They are hitting punchlines and puns mid belt and it's hilarious. Some songs are more entertaing than others, but that is clearly just a matter of preference. Luckily Stupid Songs gives you a ton of variety and that old adage olds true " there is 'something here for everyone". Wait, is that an old adage? I don't know, all I know is I thoroughly enjoyed my time sp... full review

The brainchild of director Keri Safran, Stupid Songs is a musical revue consisting of 19 original tunes covering topics that range from serial killing to teen pregnancy to “dad bods.” Of course, there’s a lot of L.A.-centric humor and a riotous opening number that gently skewers the Fringe itself.... full review

So fun! Dying is easy, comedy is hard. These performers do it hard. While singing. Caveat: yes, some of the songs *are* joyously stupid. But most of them are actually extremely clever and witty. They are only pretending to be stupid. Be warned. The show clips along with a ton of variety in musical style, content, and performance style of the singers. The energy is fantastic. This is an uplifting show. Not morally uplifting. The other kind. You know what I mean. I left with a big stupid smile on my face.... full review

Stupid Songs. This show made me say: Wow, there’s a heck of a lot of talent in these (Hollywood) Hills. This night of stand-up songs in the vein of Tom Lehrer can sometimes get too clever for its own good, but the show’s first half is knee-slapping and hilarious. From a character who sings about what to do with his arms; a ballad of a mail-order bride; a ditty from the last three women surviving the end of the world; a country ode to the existential question of the state of Montana, this show has countless gems. And the live band rocks it.... full review
