Greg David Jones, under the direction of Justin Donaldson, presents something in "How I Got Here" that is tragically rare; honesty. Jones tells his personal story with depth and nuance. For one person to survive so much drama and emerge with the grace and strength to share his travails with others, is inspiring.... full review

Great show. Jones is naturally funny, but in spite of humorous elements, this is not a comedy. It's a compelling story of genuine hardship and Jones's unwillingness to give into it. In this show you get an inside look into an outsider's life. And don't worry, you won't leave sad. Check it out.... full review

I adored How I Got Here. Greg's show is so brutally honest and sincere while still being funny. It's wonderfully refreshing to see someone so funny able to be so open about difficult parts of their life, and still able to find the humor in it. Greg has an incredible ability to make the audience feel and laugh all at once. This is a gem of a show and should not be missed.... full review

The show is simple. Greg Jones plays no characters, only himself telling his powerful story. And he is SO good at it. It's raw, it's real, it's relevant. You will be sucked in, you will cry, you will laugh. Jones takes the audience on a journey where the ultimate discovery is that there truly is truth in comedy. ... full review

This show is fantastic! It's simple storytelling form is aided by it's writer/star's fun and approachable personality. He makes the audience feel immediately at ease despite the tough subject matter. He proves that laughter can truly be the best medicine as he illustrates how comedy and laughter literally saved his life. It's an inspiring, heartwarming and heartbreaking show. I highly recommend it.... full review
