In an inpatient stay at a mental institution, Carla Waters undergoes therapy for a recent loss. Carla struggles to understand her own abilities and those of the people around her. Along with companions Jim and Madison, Carla learns who and what to trust, and what’s real or not.

This experimental play raises the questions about how we think about ourselves, and where we fit in our own delusions and dreams. Done in interpretational presentation style, it’s sure to be an interesting experience for any theatregoer.

Animal Stories is presented by USC’s premier student theatre group, Brand New Theatre, and it’s directed by Jonathan Stoller-Schoff and written by Molly Sharpe.

Animal Stories is approximately one hour.
