My overall impression
Original and creative. The representation of multiple characters by one actress provides for layered context. On the surface the show offers fresh perspective on the challenges unique to unmarried, female, Russian Jewish immigrants from various generations. Abstractly its style pushes a thematic universal common denominator – singleness is a problem to be solved – thus the show transcends its cultural and female oriented construct… Very well done.
