My overall impression
Wonderfully intriguing show that unfolds like an intricately wrapped gift. The wonderfully energetic performers are an excellent fit with the deftly written script, which balances the familiarity of carefully-drawn characters with the surprises of an ingeniously conceived plot. Funny, with the right amount of disturbing, and the well-crafted mixture of light and dark results not in a dull gray, but to a vivid and enthralling contrast.
