This satire was very clever and really funny. Five scenes traverse the ups and downs of art and entertainment and skewer the often competing interests of commerce and creativity in five time periods. Highlights include Shakespeare at a focus group, literary greats having their masterpieces reworked by two horribly funny agents, and a crazy musical rendition of the secret love Kruschev and Hoover shared. The Elephant theater itself struggled with lighting cues throughout (easily fixed) but the cast was really top notch and showed immense range. I’d love to see this expanded beyond the 50 minutes and given a bigger budget. Really fun and had some strong “Stoppardian” moments.
