My overall impression
I laughed so much during this show. Two excellent performances, a clever script, and sharply directed. I’m definitely going to recommend it.
I know it’s a work in progress, and I’d like to keep up with it. I hope that someone throws some money at this project, because I’d love to see what they do with a budget. In particular, I’d love to see more of both of the characters’ acts.
In terms of constructive feedback (I’ve got a work in development here at the Fringe as well, so I’m trying to give the kind of criticism that I’d want to receive) – it took me about ten minutes to realize that this is a period piece. It would have been awesome to have something in the script that signaled the time period a little earlier on.
tl;dr: Many belly laughs. Go see it.
