My overall impression
I have seen many productions of, The Fantasticks, and this one was one of the best. Full of sweetness, comic charm, and well crafted poignancy, this “Good People’s” offering was everything this lovely show should be, and allowed the audience to be swept up in the romantic haze—and the clear eyed reality, this show so beautifully embraces. Each actor was perfectly cast, and the musical direction—(and the harp!),was spot on—and wonderfully playful. Every aspect of this production was excellent, and I applaud the director for creating such an enchanting piece of theatre. Well done.
