Revolution is a professional contemporary dance company based in Los Angeles. With 20 members on the company both male and female this allows for more opportunities to reach out to more events and charity performances. This company’s talent of dancers is first class with 6 of them being “Top 10” dancers on “So You Think You Can Dance”, have danced for JLo, Fergie, and the list goes on and on.
Revolution is under the creative direction of Kristin McQuaid. Kristin McQuaid originally from Los Angeles has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years and has worked with top celebrities such as Britney Spears, Prince, Mandy Moore, Mark McGrath, Cindi Lauper, and more. Along with her music videos and stage work, Kristin has also been in 10 national commercials, some of which include US Cellular, Dr. Pepper, Jack in the Box, Outback Steak House, and Pepsi. She has been seen in the feature film Beautiful starting Minnie Driver, Days of our Lives, American Dreams, Zombie Prom produced by Wes Craven, Entertainment Tonight, and much more! Kristin takes pride in the work she has done and still continues to pursue her dream as an entertainer. Kristin has been traveling across the country for many years, teaching and choreographing for many of the top ranked dance studios in the United States. Most notable is her solo choreography for “Dance Moms” 10-year old guest star, Sophia Lucia. In 2010, Kristin was honored to be selected as one of the 14 finalists for the “Capezio Ace Awards” choreography show in NYC. Her work has also been displayed in Carnival’s Choreography Ball in both 2012 and 2013. Most recently, she has begun preparation for a stage show featuring her choreography and newly founded contemporary dance company “Revolution.”
