It was artistic and beautiful, while still being very relatable and humble. Brittany really touched me and I think this show has something in it for everyone. These actresses are talented people and I highly recommend the show!... full review

Unkempt Gardens was beautiful, fresh, and real. A unique combination of music and story told with humor, and honesty. This one-woman show goes through the different roles she has played in her life, by choice or circumstances. Its simplicity is its strength. Unkempt Gardens is original, unexpectedly candid and incredibly present. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it, since seeing it the stories told here continue to run through my mind. It's thought provoking and beautiful! I highly recommend this show.... full review

a deeply open, honest and moving piece of theatre. Brittany is super vulnerable in this piece, and deals with it so provocatively and genuinely. it's part fun, part sassy and part heartbreaking. she's got a beautiful singing voice, and is so connected to the audience. Hasmik Saakian's movement poem is intriguing and luminous as well. Check them out!... full review

Beautiful and real. Both Brittony and Hasmik used their own unique way of storytelling to engage the audience. A fresh and honest show that simply was there, exposing trueness of life. ... full review

During the show, Brittany reveals that she came close to canceling it, and I am so very happy and grateful that she did not. Through stories and songs, she reveals herself to us, while also examining that process of creating intimacy between audience and performer. The resulting experience is complex, real, human and very deeply moving. The final expression on her face as the last light slowly faded out will stay with me for a very long time. This show represents everything that is best about single person shows. ... full review
