My overall impression
During the show, Brittany reveals that she came close to canceling it, and I am so very happy and grateful that she did not. Through stories and songs, she reveals herself to us, while also examining that process of creating intimacy between audience and performer. The resulting experience is complex, real, human and very deeply moving. The final expression on her face as the last light slowly faded out will stay with me for a very long time. This show represents everything that is best about single person shows.
