Coming from NYC and seeing many Fringe shows there, I really didn’t know what to expect from the LA Theater scene. If Theatre Unleashed’s “25 plays per hour” is any indication, this year’s Hollywood Fringe is going to be awesome!
The venue perfectly suited the performance, giving the audience an intimate immersion into the stories of the night. From the get-go, the energy in the room was electric, and the laughs didn’t stop! (Except during some well placed poignant plays.)
The cast was excellent and transitioned from character to character seamlessly. It was incredible to see a handful of actors play so many roles…and do it really well.
When asking my friends which of the 25 plays they liked best, the overwhelming response was that they couldn’t choose… The night had so many memorable moments, and the excitement of all those moments, one after the next, created a unforgettable night of theater.
Thanks for making my first Hollywood Fringe experience awesome!
