My overall impression
The Other F Word, Alyson Mead’s quick witted and smart play about four women who meet at a focus group isn’t exactly the average 25 year old male’s cup of tea… but I enjoyed it. Director Danielle Ozymandias relies on simplicity to get the job done, and all four talented actresses seem to have fun with Mead’s tight script.
The show runs a little bit over the 45 minutes that’s stated in the program, and it could probably be tightened to even a half hour. But if you just want to relax and enjoy a simple, but well organized, well rehearsed piece of theatre, this show is for you.
