My overall impression
The best show I’ve seen at Fringe so far this year. This is a 2-person sketch show centered around the funeral of one man, with the leads playing all the parts – from multiple children to wives to mistresses and beyond. There’s so much great character work by the actors, and the script really zips along.
The direction is also really good – I’d have never thought it would be possible for two people to play a farce, but somehow they really pull it off. Definitely worth the trip – and Three of Clubs is just around the corner! They have Fringe Festival specials if you want to get warmed up before the show!!
