Fantastic ensemble work. This is a great show with a laugh a second. This is fit for any audience, but Shakespeare buffs will have an extra appreciation for the witty interweaving of various plots. I recommend you attend this show early so you have time to see it again. It's worth it.... full review

Non stop laughs from start to finish, King Phycus is sure to please. While an understanding of Shakespeare's most famous works are helpful, it is certainly not a prerequisite. Props to these six talented actors and the funniest curtain call I've ever witnessed! ... full review

Phycus ruled!!! This is a great show where the cast has multiple roles, all of which dazzle the brain while jogging your memory of so many great Shakespeare plays. Witty, funny, just modern enough, and a great ensemble that work with each other on seemingly psychic levels. This was actually my second time seeing the show (the first was last year at Anteus/Deaf West) and I loved both!! G.E... full review

What do you get when you blend the characters and story arcs from the Bard's most famous works, with a healthy dose of farce and pop-culture references? King Phycus! A smarter, funnier, Python-esque take on the "Complete Works" mash-up concept... Full review at http://www.latheatercritic.com... full review

What a wonderful group of highly talented actors. Very funny, broad mash up of Shakespeare's best. Hair-raising costume changes enabling everyone to play several characters, to the iambic pentameter-ed hilt! Loved the hilarious direction and the very silly props and sound effects. Great fun! GO!... full review

The Flynnsmen present a spirited, galloping romp through Tom Willmorth's good-natured send-up of Shakespeare's canon, with all the zeal and unbridled delight of kindergarten class let loose in a candy shop. Highlights include Belene Green's ball-crushing dominatrix MacBetty, Drew Doyle's sardonically professorial Chorus, Buck Zachary's endearingly Uncle Fester-like Gloucester, Patrick Wenk-Wolff's snarling, hapless Phycus, Abby Wilde's lisping soothsayer and vivacious Juliet, and Jason Thomas' manic, tortured Prince of Denmark. John Apicella's crisp direction and Deirdre Murphy's razor-sharp stage managing keep the show rolling along, with pauses taken only for the sudden bursts of laughter and applause emitting from the happy theatergoers.... full review
