Really funny. Very timely. Great casting. I'd like to see everyone involved continue to make more awesome stuff, esp. writer Deborah Gross.... full review

Third Date was hilarious! This was my first Fringe show, and I loved it! It's a play that everyone can relate to in one way or another. It wasn't trying too hard or overdone. It was just a great night of theatre showing a simple life event in such a clever, amusing way. Doug Hannah is clearly a talented director, and Rebecca Mader was particularly hilarious as the ex-girlfriend. I highly recommend seeing this show.... full review

Congrats to the whole team. Job well done. Pete Cilella was down to earth and solid in his performance. hilarious, touching, and awkward in that 3rd date kind of way. ... full review

This is an amazing show! In only 40 minutes, the author has captured the humor and pathos of beginning a new relationship. its so impressive that she found the voice of both male and female angst. You need to go see this production. The cast gives a funny and relatable interpretation of the characters both real and imaginary. I will probably see this one a second time... maybe make it a third date! ... full review

"The Third Date" is 45 minutes of all those moments all of us have had while dating. Awkward silences, check....wondering who gave the other person that gift, check...having internal dialogues with yourself while trying to listen to someone else, double check....laughing throughout the show CHECK. Seriously if you're looking for a great laugh that everyone can relate to then this is the show for you. The writing is smart, comical, and realistic. If you walk out of this show saying anything but, "yeah I've been there before" then you are not dating, or you're not making it to the third date. Go check this out before it's gone!... full review

I had a great time watching The Third Date. It was so funny and anyone who has been on a date can relate to the nervous excitement and awkwardness that is inevitable. The cast delivered their lines perfectly. Peter and Megan were adorable and Chris and Selah kept the audience laughing. Kudos to the writer, Deborah, for writing a great one-act play and to Doug for directing such a good ensemble. It definitely leaves you wanting more!... full review

I had been particularly interested in this play because the cast included Rebecca Mader, star of Lost and other television shows. Unfortunately, Mader was called out of town on a job, and did not perform. However, her understudy, Selah Victor, was a perfect replacement for the role of Evans' ex, Barrie. The remainder of the cast was composed of Peter Cilella as Evan, Megan Raye Manzi as his date, Allie, and Chris Wylde as her ex, Helmer. This show was brilliantly written by Deborah Gross and perfectly directed by Doug Hannah. The concept could not have been better, and I laughed until I almost cried at the incredible story unfolding on the stage. I highly recommend this show!... full review
