My overall impression
There are some shows where you show up not knowing what to expect, you sit down, strap in and get ready to go on a ride. That’s exactly what happened here. I sincerely enjoyed this show. The clever concept, of a suddenly self-aware literary character desperately trying to escape their pre-written destiny, experienced in a series of dreams they fall through is both interesting and creative. I’m fascinated not only by this piece, but by the process it was developed. I hope to see more explorations from Fell Swoop in the near future.
