My overall impression
The first few scenes dramatized what runs through my head, should I ever consider directing Miss Julie. I unfortunately lost The Dream Play thread, having not read it in twenty years, and that made it hard to follow the last half. All the performances were pretty stellar and often surprising. I’m interested to see more from Fell Swoop that isn’t so specifically centered around intimate knowledge of two texts.
