My overall impression

This is an incredibly imaginative reworking of the Medea myth that was really enjoyable to watch. Medea is brought into the 21st century and is portrayed by a young but insanely talented woman who captures perfectly Medea’s pain and desire to be loved. The production enables three young actors to communicate the heavy and intimidating task of portraying the Medea tale and the acting company should be very proud of the characters they have created. Cody Goss as Jason has retained the endearing qualities of Jason that help us understand just what Medea loves about him. Alvaro Renteria as Ancaeus is a perfect one man greek chorus – watching him listen and react to the chaotic storm that is Medea and Jason is a pure joy to watch. I highly recommend this production to anyone who enjoys the Greek myths and Medea in particular.
