My overall impression
Ryan is Lost allows the audience to truly laugh at a comical situation but also empathize with some genuinely lonely people that we can easily connect with. I found myself really pulling for this brother/sister duo and wanted them to resolve their deep embedded issues with the past and find a resolution in finding their nephew “Ryan” that represents a hopeful resolution for the two “fuckups”. The playwright provides great dialogue and a battlefield at the local mall for these two to work out their complex issues. My friend and I had a great time so please go see it!
