Two Rooms is a timely portrait of how politics can influence and overwhelm a world gone wrong. It is focused on the kidnapping of an American educator in Beirut, and draws us into the largest conflict facing the world today, The Arab world vs. The West. Belinda Gosbee gives a fine, and emotional performance as the estranged wife. Christopher DeVinny is the sympathetic hostage. Mario Vernazza is a prodding journalist, looking for angles. The beautiful Catherine Siggins gives a powerfully controlled, and thoughtful performance as the State Department representative who must come to terms with what is politically correct, versus morally right. under Amir Korangy's direction, Two Rooms is a show not to be missed!... full review

I think this play was amazing; it made me cry and laugh. It made me think how we tend to seek love and hope in life, no matter how bad things are around us we tend to find the warmth and kindness in people. Is what makes us cope with the hard times that we go thru in violent times. The cast is incredibly talented; they fill the room with and amazing energy and power, it was impossible not to feel each character point of view; they all stand for different things, but they found each other looking for their neutral ground. you must see it!! :) It's simply amazing!!!... full review

A great premise suited perfectly to a black box theater. The cast is excellent with Belinda Gosbee bringing a believably unhinged take to a woman trying desperately to find the middleground between mourning her husband too soon and maintaining cautious optimism about the ability of indifferent and intangible forces to bring him home. Mario Vernazza's semi-idealistic and nevertheless self-interested reporter is wonderfully sympathetic, as is Catherine Siggins' loyal and repressed state department official. And through it all, Chris Devinny delivers a devastating portrait of a man grasping at whatever straws of agency and humanity his situation offers.
