Starting June 14th, The Elephant Stages and The Hollywood Fringe Festival will present Delilah Dix-Americas Showgirl. This musical comedy is written by and starring Amy Albert, with original music by Cody Owen Stine and directed by Peter Michael Marino.
Delilah Dix, who is one part Barbara Streisand, three parts gin, shaken until passed out, and star of many Lifetime Television for Women presentations such as The Monster in my Washer/Dryer and My Secret Life As A Clown, is in the slammer and this time it’s serious. She was caught smuggling an orphan in an endangered Koala skin over the US border, and is pleading her case to her parole officer to get back on the streets and her to adoring fan(s).
