My overall impression
I saw this show during a Saturday morning a matinee, and while the audience was a bit tame, we were fully invested in Lyla. Being from the south, I especially loved the complexity of the character as she showered us with her hilarious cultural political incorrectness, while still being good down to her bones. I know people like that, which made it all the funnier.
