This show is hilarious, and is probably like nothing you've ever seen in clowning. The writing and comedy is sharp and nimble, and the physical action is breath-takingly intelligent (a Four Clowns trademark). Adam and Zach inhabit these highly idiosyncratic characters as if they were born for these roles. ... full review

This show is indescribable in the best way. The story of a tax cheat and his IRS handler is really a platform for a torrent of gags, verbal and physical- made better by the fact that neither man once breaks character. The commitment is incredible. It breaks my heart that someone might sit through one of the pieces of shit I've endured rather than see this show. All I can do is add my voice to the chorus recommending you go. fringeblog.webs.com... full review

Last night was the second performance of Four Clown's production of "Me Rich, You Learn". I didn't know what to expect, knowing that Zachary Steel and Adam Carpenter are veteran comedians. I don't want to give away too much, but YOU MUST SEE THIS SHOW! You will laugh, you will cry, you will laugh and cry till you pee. Zach & Adam's chemistry and comedy is effortless, fresh and committed. The comedy is bold and weird and reminiscent of the all the great dynamic duos of comedy, pure brilliance on stage.... full review

FOUR CLOWNS DO IT AGAIN!!! THERE IS JUST SO MUCH TO LOVE IN THIS SHOW. Not only does Me Rich You Learn have the brilliant physical comedy that we've come to expect from Four Clowns but there is even dialogue this time around - and I assure you this only enhances the theatrical experience!! This story, about a tax evader forced into a community service repentance for his sins to the IRS, is less about the mindnumbing fine points of tax law then it is about the utter foolishness that unfolds between the brilliantly portrayed repressed tax officer and the explosive-ID-based M Hammer - who is jumping out of his skin to use this same session to get his mojo back after his life has fallen apart. My favorite thing about the inclusion of the dia... full review

The Four Clowns shows never fail to entertain and move you in their comic explorations of the human condition. Thank you to Artistic Director, Jeremy Aluma and all the Four Clowns Company for bringing Me Rich You Learn to the Hollywood Fringe. Me Rich You Learn is a amazing ride from power point beginning to zany end. Adam Carpenter and Zach Steel are accomplished actors both physically and emotionally. Adam is wiry, tall, and as Martin, oh, so timid until he let's go. Zach is a coiled spring that is ready to explode. He woos the audience with his gentle come on to a female audience member. When he finally coaxes her to come on stage, I found myself saying, "No, no don't go." He does other things to audience members and Martin (Ada... full review

Me Rich You Learn is indescribably hilarious. You have to see it for yourself to understand the comedic insanity Adam Carpenter and Zach Steel explore on stage. It's got high energy physical comedy, brilliantly timed banter, and bizarre twists. What more would you expect from a washed up real estate mogul and a sycophantic IRS agent? Go see it and then have fun trying to describe it to people.... full review

The definition of a good time. Witty, exciting, energetic, magical, shocking, smart, and hilarious. I don't think I have laughed that hard at a show in a long time. If you want a good time here it is. Love this company. ... full review

This show was non-stop laughs. It reminded me of good Monty Python but without the British. The writing was crazy and clever and the performances were even better. I am probably going to see it again. ... full review

I should mention that producer, Jeremy Aluma, is my fiancé. But that doesn't cloud my ability to judge great comedy. (Jeremy is always the first to hear my critique of any show he's involved in.) Anyways, Me Rich You Learn is one of the best things I've seen in a while. You'll have no idea where the journey is headed but it hardly matters. Zach Steel and Adam Carpenter keep the audience in laughing throughout. As the characters reveal their idiosyncrasies you fall in love them a little bit more. This show is sure to dazzle you with modern clown physicality. ... full review

This was my first FOUR CLOWNS show and what a great reminder of what we often loose... just having fun! The production makes bold choices and makes the statement that all we really need to do is play and be confident enough to enjoy that. I absolutely love this sentiment and also the professionalism and artistry with which fun is approached.... full review
