Salomé, daughter of Herodias, Princess of Judea is often portrayed as either naïve or monstrous for her terminal pursuit of prophet Jokanaan. A fascinating story with centuries of reinterpretations based on a few biblical sentences, this retelling boldly searches for the humanity within the story by raising provocative questions about women and sex in society.
