My overall impression

I you don’t have a love for musical theater, please take your snarky attitude down the street to the bar, and don’t come see incredible ensemble of talent, exceptional musical songwriting, conceptual choreography and a brilliant take on a timeless subject – a man out of time with his world. Hey, I can relate and I’m a chick.

If you don’t allow your judgment from your eight grade English class reading “The Time Machine” book, you will be highly entertained by outstanding performances and amazing music that speaks of people out of time with themselves and those around them, reviving the spirit, and aligning with their higher self.

Joshua Fardon does a brilliant job of taking Steve’s Altman’s genius in music writing and composing themes and love songs, as the words and music are outstanding and spoke to me many times of the out of sync element we all feel in life, the choreography by Tara Raucci reminds me of a Twyla Tharp reduction smart and stylistic movement that made the ensemble truly a collective body. The cast is comprised of amazing voices and talents, that fit together perfectly to create the overall fabulous ensemble, as the music overture ranges from “Gilbert and Sullivan” overture to brilliant ballads worthy of “Rent”.

I attended the Preview and minus a few sound issues which never bother me because as a professional working in television, I know what a “Preview” is – just that – a wonderful talents will perfect their performance as I plan on going back and taking as many victims I can carry to journey with me into pure entertainment.

Bravo Josh, Steve and ensemble for taking me on the journey with you. All in an hour.
