My overall impression
A simply brilliant show.
Sandro balanced irreverent celebrity stories with his own personal touching moments in front of the world’s biggest names.
The show was so comfortable to watch. Within a few seconds on stage Sandro’s performance meant it was easy to slip into his shoes as he went about his job as a celebrity interviewer.
The show was clever, entertaining, educational ( well if you want to know the truth about your fave A listers) and packed with belly laughs.
One of the most extraordinary aspects of the show, is the script – not that you would know it is scripted due to the natural way Sandro delivers his story.
The show is peppered with very clever, witty and brilliant one liners, which is a rare feat for such a production.
This type of stylish, fast paced and impressive writing is usually only seen on hit TV comedies like The Big Bang Theory – where they have teams of writers.
This is very polished material.
One issue is that I would have liked o have heard more on some stars – but I guess the key to the theatre is always leave your audience wanting more.
