My overall impression

A smart, funny, and always fearless look at the life of a young black girl determined to create her own identity. Very well written and presented. Only thing I’d suggest would be for the performer to truly connect with her audience by giving some eye contact or at least the appearance of eye contact. Her focus seemed to be above the audience. Bring them in with your eyes and smile and this fabulous piece will transcend.
