The Easter Bunny is set in the kind of basement apartment you find in any working class neighbourhood. An urban horror story is unfolding. A serial predator has broken into the home of his next victim. And while he waits, we wait with him. The Easter Bunny is a monologue but unlike other one person plays, the audience is very much with the protagonist, in the sense that this is a conversation; it’s just that only one person gets to do the talking. The Easter Bunny explores violent and disturbing themes, but there are no scenes of physical violence, nudity or profanity.
