REVIEW
The Waste Land
by Philip Schwadron · June 27, 2010
The players in this production have created a slick, visually stunning display of art. I know that many of the actors in the Filament company have nearly a decade of experience in experimental theatre, and it pays off in Waste Land. They are on top of their game in the presentation of physical poetry and the clever use of props. Choosing a poem around which to create this piece was a definite plus, as this kind of theatre does not always work with more conventional texts. But it thrives and soars and affects the audience in countless ways with more abstract source material. I was impressed!
