55 Minutes of Sex, Drugs and Audience Participation

I don’t know how on earth Lieberman and Niemi manage to be funny, touching, moving and educational (at times) all at once – with stories chosen on the spot by a random audience member – but it is an incredible hour. You’ll get different stories each time but I’m gonna guess all of them are probably knockouts. They are also all true, pulled from their lives, which clearly are more interesting than anybody I know. Hippies had a lot of fun back then.

Our audience heard stories about a man learning what a clitoris is for the first time; a Thanksgiving dinner at a strip club; an attempt to have a gay encounter and a wedding involving piranahs and drugs.

This audience chose the X-rated version (of course!) but nothing was salacious or extreme.

And it’s much fun watching the audience members pulled onto stage become part of the story.

A lot of fun. I hope they come back to LA one day. I’d be curious to hear the R-rated versions of any of these stories, but I bet audiences hardly ever vote for that option. I know I wouldn’t!
