REVIEW
Deicide: a Sorta Musical
by David LM McIntyre · June 23, 2010
To start with a warning – if you see this show, sit in the first two or three rows. Many of the performers’ voices do not carry much further than that.
That being said, I sat in the second row and had a great time. For the most part, the performers are confident in the material and perform it with excellent timing, fully inhabiting the wacky/campy characters. The show itself is entertaining, even while freely admitting to its own silliness at times.
I can see where less confident performances could have doomed the show, but the performance I saw was thoroughly enjoyable.
