What’s your idea of heaven? Is it possible for it to be a disappointment? Do you “really” want to know what your past lives were? In Existential Crises, Chicago actors Mike Cherry and Matt Peterson (Second City, I.O. trained, respectively) perform a variety of comedic scenes exploring these and other ironic questions of existence.

Mike and Matt play ten characters each in scenes taking place in a variety of settings, including purgatory, and the seminar of a traveling guru. The show is scripted sketch comedy but it allows for improvisation throughout. With minimal props and costume the show can travel anywhere, anytime. They are known for being able to set up and break down sets in less than five minutes time (again, respectively).

“Absurdly intriguing and ridiculously hilarious.”

Tom B, Chicago

“Definitely some good stuff there!”

Ryan Bosworth, Texas

“Laurel and Hardy meet Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid!”
