A young woman from a small town in Mexico leaves home for the city where she ends up as a prostitute. She eventually returns home and discovers that her mother has kept the door open since her depaarture.

A young Coast Guard officer defends her actions at sea, and makes a statement she may regret in "The Board," one of two one-person dramas from Jaeger Christian at this year's festival. This 50-minute whodunit is a perfect fit for fans of "Law & Order," "Homeland" and "Serial."
