Excellent acting! I cried several times. She's so believable and its such a wonderful story of woman empowerment. Every woman should see this show and bring her daughter!...

This play is a hell of a thing...
In this case, the subject matter alone is enough. It doesn't take much else to get most grown men squirming to their seats from the box office, but along with that comes it's own sets of dangers that often lays waste one mans shows. Disillusioned writing, over-dramatization, self indulgence... Ben exemplified none of these things. His calm and confident demeanor matched with a steady speech quickly set me at ease. Here was a man with capable hands... experienc...

Set on a chaotic, work-in-progress set somewhere, Amy Tofte's Flesh Eating Tiger is a borderline absurdist, play within a play, bad romance, that gives us clever glimpses into a world of problematic addictions and co-dependency.
I felt the play started out on a slower note, performance and story wise. Trying to figure out the setting proved to be distracting, and absorbed most of my attention in the beginning. Once the play within the play idea was established, and the performances dropped in ...

"Liked It very much" to be precise, just not quite "Loved It". Brought to mind "Strangers on a Train" or even "Godot". The necessary changes between acts were pretty darn distracting - a hand or two back there would surely help (maybe someone can volunteer for the rest of this run?), so would better wing curtain coverage. Also, I found the short repeating piano "snippet" before the start and again later pretty annoying. The rest of the music provided was perfectly fine. I would say one or tw...

(Note should be taken of the word "experimental" in the description.) Some indulgent over-acting by the lead, but also some very interesting ideas throughout. In general, a mixed bag of talent and interpretations. We are not familiar with this group's approach or methods, but the piece would seem to benefit greatly from a writer and/or director with a firm hand....

Laura was a pleasure. Loved her personal interaction with the audience. Such a heartfelt story sprinkled with humor and nostalgia. The eighties style (ironically done as a powerpoint) video really captured some of the sights and sounds anyone around in that time will remember. I would see it again! Great job Ms. Hayden!...

I'd never seen a "silent play" before tonight, but trying new things is what the Hollywood Fringe Festival is all about, right? I'm so glad I checked this one out.
The play begins with Kristopher Lee Bicknell's character asleep on stage, and follows the course of his day. His story is silly and sad, heartwarming and heartbreaking.
I'm amazed at how much of an emotional connection I felt to a play with no dialogue. Tonight's performance was sold out, but if you can get tickets, definitely ...
