It was horribly irresponsible of me to wait so long to post this review, and even worse not to have pitched this show that much harder, and to even more people. Sex, AKA Weiners and Boobs, may have a slightly misleading title, but you'll be glad you showed up. The pedigree of talent behind the show is complimented nicely by the talent in front of it, particularly by the narrator of the show. I felt more than a little cheated on his behalf that he was born a decade or so too late to have shown up... full review

Making Love Over There

A really terrific, and terrifically performed show, Making Love Over There is a great, frenetic, if sometimes mildly head-spinning piece of theater. Patrick Riley and Zoe Chao fall in and out of love at a faster pace than most of us can manage to strike up a conversation, and it's almost always spot-on. Confessions of the World's Worst Missionary

For a play that touts the author/performer's status as a Christian missionary, this is a play that first and foremost sets out to entertain and inform, not to proselytise or judge. Lina Alfinito takes care to point out the riches and benefits available to the first world, and the tragedies of bigotry and disease that have been inflicted on the third, but never in a way that condemns the audience or the world in which they live.
