HOLYSHITTHISWASAWESOME. I *hate* one-person theatre with all the fiery passion of the nine hells, and I think this show is INCREDIBLE. Ben Moroski, raconteur nonpareil, takes the craft of solo storytelling to a new level with this dark, twisted, yet somehow endearing exploration of unconditional love. My pick for Best Solo Show 2014. ...

Those who don't learn their history are doomed to repeat it. Well, pull up a chair and open your minds, folks, because this show's going to drop a little knowledge on you. Fascinating concept - a dramatic staging of one of Playboy's biggest interviews with perhaps the most polarizing figure in gay rights history. A solid, thought-provoking look at the way we once were (and in some places, unfortunately still are) as a society. On one hand, it's great to see how far we've come, yet it's clear we s...

Okay, I'm a bad fan of musical theatre, because this is the first time I've seen anything by Jason Robert Brown. However, this production is one hell of an introduction to the man and his catalog. I recommend checking this out. The cast is talented, the material is fun, the direction is solid and the band is on point. A cut above your typical fringe faire. Don't miss it. ...

As a man in my early 30's, I found it disturbing how well I could relate to both storylines in this funny, clever show. There are several genuine belly-laugh moments that soften the blow of the realization that I'm suddenly old, and only getting older. Great stuff. I recommend it. Check it out. ...
