There are some shows where you show up not knowing what to expect, you sit down, strap in and get ready to go on a ride. That's exactly what happened here. I sincerely enjoyed this show. The clever concept, of a suddenly self-aware literary character desperately trying to escape their pre-written destiny, experienced in a series of dreams they fall through is both interesting and creative. I'm fascinated not only by this piece, but by the process it was developed. I hope to see more explorations ... full review

Incredibly strong performances and solid direction couldn't save a script that lacks both character arcs and crucial elements to tell a complete, or at least clear, story. I find myself echoing the question of other reviewers - what were we supposed to take away from this? I felt like there could have been so much more meat to the story had there been actual conflict between the characters, or between the characters and their mysterious captors. You ever see someone throw a parachute out of a plane at 30,000 feet, count to ten, then dive out of the plane after it, catch up to it, strap it on in midair, pull the ripcord at the last second and stick the landing? That's this show. Bravo. ... full review

A valiant attempt by a group that's clearly passionate about making theatre. Unfortunately, I felt the production was lacking in a few key areas (comprehension of Wilde's text being a big issue), and the acoustic cover of "Call Me Maybe" in the middle of the show stuck out like a sore thumb. While I am rating this show as Not My Thing, I do sincerely applaud these guys for taking the chance they did. I really enjoyed this production. Although I think the show itself needs further development to be a fully polished and presentable show, I also believe it *deserves* further development. I found it to be thought provoking on important and currently relevant cultural topics - specifically race and gender in relation to nerd culture. If their magic doesn't wow you, their banter will leave you in stitches. Seriously, these guys have the art of patter down so well, you'd think they've been working together for decades, not just a couple of years. Bravo. Can't wait to see what they bring next year!... full review
