It has a pretty good cast, and some funny and endearing moments, but the concept of storytelling through flashlights is not executed to its full potential. I went with another friend who was entirely immersed and engaged in the story throughout, so it's all a matter of opinion. For me, I was disengaging because the whole piece felt disengaged within itself, if that makes any sense. Overall, not bad.... full review

The show itself is lots of fun, even if some of the cast members were not the greatest singers or the greatest at keeping a consistent beat--it adds to the hilarity and zaniness of Nilbog! The show is great, and as long as you are prepared to be crammed into the venue like sardines and expect the show to last a bit longer than expected, you should have a pretty good time. It's a riot!... full review

It was a unique experience that is certainly hard to find anywhere else at the Fringe Festival, and at its short run time, it yearns for more material, but what is provided is very fascinating and thought-provoking and certainly worth a chance if you can spare some extra change for the ticket.... full review
