Terra Is A Warm Gun

Terra rips the lid off her can of worms and delivers a gloriously Fringey show! She makes me think of a Stepford wife gone rogue, who ultimately self-destructs upon seeing the absurdity of her place in the world. I saw each short piece as a peek into how Terra processes and barfs up the world around her, through both song and spoken word.... full review

Amy Waller delivers a strong, self-assured performance of a courageous war bride. The play was especially engaging because Waller the actress was every bit as fearless as the role she played, so I was immersed in the story.... full review

This is Theatre of the Absurd of the highest caliber! A friend and I bumped into Jeff and Matt outside The Lounge before their show. They struck me as two nice, regular Joes. We knew nothing about it. We were on the fence about spontaneously capping off the evening with their midnight show. What a wonderful surprise! My friend and I LOVED IT! These two talented actors reminded me of those legendary comedy duos from The Golden Age. They bounced off each other brilliantly.... full review

This is a funny, solo tour de force black comedy of all the obnoxious people Dan was endlessly pouring drinks for, including a journey through the hellish inspection process. His burned out persona and almost grotesque impersonations made this show darkly satisfying. ... full review

Apathy Killed the Cat

I consider this one of the Fringier plays, as it explores controversial secrets with sensitivity and wit. There were two scenes that took me completely by surprise and I love unpredictability! It's a wonderfully quirky play that remains compelling throughout the full 90 minutes. For me, a big part of its success lies with the talented actor playing the complex Colin. A sensitive, soulful performance that draws you in and anchors the story.... full review
