STUPID SONGS!!

Holy Crazy! Are you kidding me with this!? This show was so freakin' funny I wasn't able to stop crying. Literally. The true mastery of this troupe at singing songs about nothing is brilliant! Under the directing of Safran and the musical direction of Wessels, "Stupid Songs" does not let up and does not let you breathe. I could have sat through another hour of songs easily!! If you don't see this show, then I'll probably unfriend you. Trust me. More than worth the price of admission!!... full review

Sleeping Around

Wow! What a show! I was completely blown away by Theatre Unleashed! The ensemble in this show is at the top of their game as they masterfully weave 9 scenes together to give the audience an incredible glimpse of "sleeping around." There are hilarious moments! Touching moments! And even "WTF" moments. And with Abella's text and Soroka's directing, this troupe does not let it stop from start to finish! Truly a must see at this year's festival!... full review

No Traveler: A Comedy About Suicide

To be honest, I probably couldn't say enough about Penny and her show, but I'll do my best. No only did Penny's show have a lot of heart and comedy, but the direction of this show was incredible. Penny's movements and shifts from character to character were so well done, that it was obvious that her and Pearlman were more than on the same page. The amount of storytelling Penny was able to do with such a simple set design and look was truly amazing. I would highly recommend this show to everyo... full review

I honestly didn't know anything about this show going in. And I am so glad. Les and Marlene surprised me so much by just how simple, sweet and honest this show was. How well the two of them moved through their segments was beautiful. And both of them are such masterful storytellers that the entire audience was with them from start to finish. Truly a must see this year!... full review

Size Matters- The Biggest Dicks in Comedy

I was not sure what to expect going into this show, but I can assure you these girls outdid anything I could have imagined. Some really smart and inngenius sketches that had me almost crying in my seat. Their ability to work the audience at times and even act opposite themselves on screen was awesome! Very fun stuff and definitely worth seeing at the festival this year!!... full review

Boss: The Untold Tony Danza Story

As a child of the 70's and 80's, I couldn't have been more excited to see this show. And Matt Richey did not let me down. His cast and crew brought to life such a unique and interesting story about someone we all know and love. Not only that, but the attention to detail regarding Danza's backstory and relationships is so much fun to witness. And to have it all anchored by Luvara's performance and script makes this show easily worth it's ticket price. Definitely a must see!... full review

Fifty Shades of Shrew

TO be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I sat in my seat for this show. I knew it was "Taming of the Shrew" and I knew it was an all-woman cast, but I certainly didn't know what I was in for. And I'm so glad, because I was thoroughly impressed by the cast and crew of this show. To adapt such a well-known play into such a taboo setting, Danielle Ozymandias and her players did an incredible job. It's one thing to pair down Shakespeare. It's another to do it in an hour. And with such s... full review

Cold Fusion

Being that it's one of the few dramas at the Fringe this year, Ingrid Moss has done a great job of making her audience think. This show is soft and intense and will pull you along to the amazing finish that you don't see coming. With strong performances from the entire cast, this show has a lot of great moments that will keep you talking well after you leave the theater. ... full review
